Seven of Swords

Swords

Essence

I am the figure stealing away with swords. In my image, a man creeps from an encampment carrying five swords, leaving two behind. He looks back over his shoulder - caught in the act or checking if anyone follows? The tents behind show he takes from a group, working alone. I am cunning, strategy, self-reliance - but also theft, deception, the belief that you can escape consequences.

Upright

Themes: Deception, strategy, stealth, theft, going alone, cunning, betrayal, shortcuts, avoiding confrontation.

I speak with the voice of cunning calculation. I am about strategy, deception, going it alone, getting away with something. When I appear, I ask: whose swords are you taking? Sometimes strategy requires stealth - but is this wisdom or betrayal? The backward glance knows the difference, even if you pretend not to. **Themes:** Deception, strategy, stealth, theft, going alone, cunning, betrayal, shortcuts, avoiding confrontation.

Reversed

Themes: Getting caught, exposed secrets, confession, returning what was taken, or: getting away with it, successful strategy.

I speak of deception revealed or conscience awakened. Either the theft is discovered, the strategy fails, or you've decided to put the swords back. My reversed message asks: have you been caught? Or have you caught yourself? **Themes:** Getting caught, exposed secrets, confession, returning what was taken, or: getting away with it, successful strategy.
